Xero Setup - Setup and configure your Xero file.

  • Business Details:Business name, entity type, ABN/ACN and contact details.

  • Tax Settings: GST, BAS reporting and tax settings.

  • Bank Accounts: Create bank accounts in Xero and prepare for the bank feed connection.

  • Opening Balances: Set the conversion date and opening balances.

  • Invoice Template: Add logo, payment details and invoice settings.

Training Session 1 – Accounting Fundamentals & Xero Overview (45mins)

  • Chart of Accounts: Understanding income, expense, asset, liability and equity accounts. (Including

    the key accounts commonly used in your business.)

  • Profit & Loss Statement: Understanding income, expenses and profit.

  • Balance Sheet: Understanding assets, liabilities and equity.

  • Bank Reconciliation Concepts: Understanding why bank reconciliation is important.

  • Xero Overview: Dashboard, Sales, Purchases and Reports.

Training Session 2 – Day-to-Day Xero Processing (45mins)

  • Customer Invoicing: Create invoices and record customer payments.

  • Expenses & Bills: Enter supplier bills and expenses.

  • Bank Reconciliation: Match and reconcile bank transactions.

  • Reports & User Access: Basic reporting and user management.
